Nursing Home Gift Bags – Every week, representatives from our Church gather will residents of Stephenville Nursing and Rehabilitation to worship and celebrate the Word of God. We will be preparing gift bags for 40 residents to be delivered to them with a variety of items . Please consider purchasing/donating any of the following items. Suggested items: Shampoo/conditioner or 2-in-1 combination Body wash Lotion Nail clippers Soft socks Our children will decorate the gift bags and include a Christmas card and a sweet treat. The youth will assemble the bags at their Christmas party on December 15th.
Cookies for the Troops - Due date – Sunday, December 15 Once again, we will participate in Cookies for the Troops. We have been challenged to fill 100 boxes for our service personnel to enjoy over the holidays. Instructions – No nuts in the cookies, please. Place 1 dozen cookies in a sealable Ziploc type bag. We will pack 2 dozen cookies per box. 2 dozen = 2 x 12 = 24 x 100 = That’s 2,400 cookies and many happy troops! We do have the boxes, but we will need tape for them if someone could donate a couple rolls of packing/shipping tape. Thank you.
