We are feeding hungry children in the Erath County Area in cooperation with First United Methodist Church, First Baptist Church and Stephenville Christian Reformed Church. We are an Erath County United Way funded agency and receive grants from other local agencies. We welcome donations from all interested donors. Weekends can mean hunger to many children who depend on school meals for their primary nutrition. Backpack Buddies provides sacks filled with child-friendly, non-perishable food to students most at risk of being hungry on the weekends. The cost of food for one child for one week-end is $6.00. You can donate by sending your check to Backpack Buddies to the church at 2675 W. Overhill Dr. Stephenville, Texas 76401.
