OAK (Organized Acts of Kindness)

Kory Koch

The OAK Ministry encourages organized acts of kindness for the purpose of sharing the love of Jesus with the outside world. First, the OAK Ministry is a partnership with Texas Ramp Project to build wheelchair ramps for people in Erath County and surrounding areas. Another facet of the OAK Ministry is lived out when members take home communion to those who cannot attend worship. The OAK Ministry has also assisted with storm clean-up, and we have participated in UMCOR (United Methodist Corps on Relief) projects putting together kits that are sent to other parts of the world. We also send people on mission projects to work in the UMCOR Sager Brown Depot in Baldwin, Louisiana putting together kits. We support Rev. David and Cindy Ceballos, missionaries in Panama. We also support Shannon Pannell, serving orphans in Africa and China.
